Dinner today. Trattoria Lungo

I went to Trattoria Lungo with my friends.

I usually don't drink alcohol, and I don't know about wines. But I like this inexpensive sparkling one. It tastes good.

Have you ever eaten a mustard-cherry ?? It was a first time to taste for me. It tastes nice too. The mustard-cherries were served as a garnish to the pork dish. But I was picking up only them, the pork aside.

Dinner today. 白橋ホルモン Shirahashi Horumon

My dinner was at a legendary Horumon place in my town, Shirahashi Horumon. Sometimes I mention Horumon on my blog, Horumon is the bowel parts of barn animals, especially cows and pigs, kind of the trash parts in olden days. If you are not Japanese, you might be thinking " You guys eat the parts besides the meat in Japan? Disgusting!" It's OK, they serve the horumon of horse. You will say Uhhhh..., more disgusting?? But it tastes soo nice. The world is wide. Some country's people like to eat frog, snake, some creatures like that. It sounds disgusting, but if the people eat them, it means it tastes good, I think. Horumon is the same. Try it if you come to my town.

I'm still using Discovery 975, and I don't have any complaints for using it. It means I don't need to get a new one. But, it's also hard to resist the temptation to get better & newer items...
Carbon ... I'm a BIG sucker for the stuff made of carbon fiber.

I went to surf after a long interval. It was good swell and warm. I jumped in the sea, but came back on shore after just a minute 'cause my shoulder had hurt since last Thursday when I played volleyball. It was OK to paddle on the beach, but my shoulder couldn't endure the water pressure in the sea.

After coming back from seeing some cars, I went to Kourien again.

If you check my blog out sometimes, you know I've been looking for a new car. I took some cars for a spin today.

I went to the Audi showroom to see the A5 sportback, but they didn't have a car for test driving, just for display. I was bored and when I got out of there, I found the new A8. Wow, It was my first time to see it. Exterior and interior are both beautiful. I know it's completely out of my budget, the price is around 10 million yen. but if I were to pay that price, I would prefer the Jaguar XJ, a much prettier car.

After there, I went to a SUV custom shop to check out some customed FJ cruisers (I already saw some of them from the road). But they were all sold out. Instead I found a full customed Defender that I've been anxious to see. Daaamn COOL!!
I was totally excited, and became absorbed with the car.
In conclusion, I loooove this car.

Hey, look at my son. He was digging it. He wouldn't get out by himself. It was hard to get him out of the car. My son has the same taste as me. (I'm kind of a doting father.)

It looks like he likes this elevated vehicle height.

I'm expecting to buy a SUV for the first time in my life.

the presents from my Bonsai Master.

I went to see my Bonsai Master to get my Bonsai that I brought in 2months ago for treatment. They already have come to life again and they have got new growths. Amazing work, Bonsai Master !! And he gave me 1 new Bonsai , a flower (I don't know the name) and a ginkgo.

There were lots of beautiful BONSAIs.

My son was of course with me, and he liked this place. He was running in the tulip garden that my Master grew with a big smile. Very nice evening today.

I went to play golf last saturday.

This guy putting on the green, my man RYO (dude!!) has been in Fukushima with some doctors in tow to volunteer since last Sunday. And today, my country Japan's nuclear crisis was raised to holy shit level 7 same as Chernobyl.
